Tourmaline

Tourmaline is a semi-precious mineral similar to granite. The name Tourmaline comes from the Sinhalese words “Tura Mali”, which means a stone of mixed colors. Tourmaline gemstone ranges in colors from magenta to teal-blue, meadow-green to vibrant yellow and even black. In 1554, Francisco Spinoza’s expedition discovered the first recorded green tourmaline crystal. Tourmaline is the birthstone for October, along with opal and the gemstone for 8th wedding anniversary. Tourmaline rates at a hardness of 7-7.5 on Mohs scale.

An Asset to Battle Ground

I had a fun time looking at all the beautiful estate jewelry! I brought in a couple of pieces that were my grandmothers to get repaired, Craig treated them like they were his own. I truly appreciate the warm and friendly customer service at Celebration Jewelers!! You are such an asset to Battle Ground!
