One of the first signs that something is wrong with your prongs is when your ring starts snagging on clothes. If you notice such a problem, don’t put off inspecting your prongs or you could risk losing your stones. Usually, rings snag because one or more of their prongs are raised, bent, broken or worn out. Typically, prongs need to be re-tipped every 7-10 years.
Re-building the prongs will ensure your stones are protected and secure. Whether, your prongs are worn or broken, our jeweler will add new gold to build them back up to like-new condition.
We recommend for you to bring in your jewelry at least twice a year for a complimentary cleaning and inspection.
