Solder Rings Together

To solder or not to solder is a very common question for brides who are choosing a wedding set. Soldering together may be a great option for some women who live a certain lifestyle, but it may not be the right option for everyone. There are both pros and cons to soldering your wedding rings together.

Ring solder together example

If you choose to solder, you will always have to wear the two rings together. You might not want to do that if your occupation requires you to wear only your wedding band for safety reasons or if you like the idea of stackable bands. Soldering together prevents your rings from spinning, rubbing against each other, loosening of the stones, wearing down the gold or the need to rhodium plate more often. Engagement and wedding rings have a tendency to spin around on your finger, causing your center diamond to be off-center. Soldering them will ensure your wedding set will always look perfectly aligned.
